A weekly roundup of Arizona protests, community events, and ways to get involved from Saturday, March 14, through Thursday, March 19.

This week’s events include ICE protests, voter registration drives, organizing meetings, community service projects, and advocacy trainings happening across the state.

Here’s our weekly round-up of upcoming events and actions:

Saturday (March 14)

Douglas Community Cleanup Pt. 2 with RAZE
(Douglas, 9 a.m.-1 p.m.)
Volunteers will help clear a community lot that organizers hope to transform into a gathering space for events and art installations.

“We the People” Artbeat ICE Out Rally and Food Drive
(Tempe, 9-11 a.m.)
Tempe Rising Indivisible will gather at Cole Park and the Tempe Pedestrian Bridge for a visibility rally and food drive.

What’s Next? A Conversation on How to Get Involved
(Phoenix, 12-1 p.m.)
Feminist Generation Arizona will host a discussion at Serafina Coffee Roasters focused on ways people can get involved in community advocacy.

Sunday (March 15)

Medicina Ancestral para Tiempos de Estrés
(Phoenix, 11 a.m.-1 p.m.)
Semillas Arizona will host a workshop exploring traditional herbal knowledge and practices for managing stress and community wellbeing.

Cottonwood Corner Sunday Protests
(Cottonwood, 2-4 p.m.)
Camp Verde Indivisible will hold a weekly protest at the intersection of Arizona 89A and Arizona 260.

2026 CEBV Happy Hour (Virtual)
(4-5 p.m.)
Civic Engagement Beyond Voting will host a weekly virtual session covering Arizona legislation and state politics.

WV-North Phoenix CAT Chat: Protect Education Initiative
(Virtual, 6-7 p.m.)
Save Our Schools Arizona will host a virtual meeting focused on education policy and the ESA voucher program.

Central & South Phoenix CAT Chat (Virtual)

Save Our Schools Arizona and community members will meet online to discuss local issues and public education advocacy.

Monday (March 16)

Arizona Capitol Tour & Legislative Deep Dive

Tempe Rising Indivisible will host a guided tour of the Arizona Capitol Museum followed by a briefing on the legislative process.

AZ Legislative Recap and Next Steps Members Call
(Virtual, 6-7 p.m.)
Common Cause Arizona will host a webinar discussing current legislative developments and voting rights issues.

Tuesday (March 17)

Lobby Day with the ACLU of Arizona
(Phoenix, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.)
The ACLU of Arizona will host a day of meetings with lawmakers at the Arizona Capitol.

Volunteer to Get Community College Students Registered to Vote

Tempe Rising Indivisible will host a voter registration drive focused on community college students.

Arizona Native Democrats: Café 6 (Virtual)

Arizona Native Democrats will host a virtual community conversation open to tribal and rural community members statewide.

Power in the Barrio: New Member Gathering

LUCHA will host a gathering for new members to connect and learn about organizing efforts in southern Arizona.

Thursday (March 19)

Coffee and Chat with Honest Arizona
(Tucson, 10 a.m.-1 p.m.)
Honest Arizona hosts weekly conversations about local policy issues and community concerns.

GEN-Z Voter Registration Phone Bank Party
(Phoenix, 5-7 p.m.)
Youth organizing groups across Arizona will host a voter outreach phone bank.

Testimony 101
(Phoenix, 6-8 p.m.)
Our Voice Our Vote Arizona will host a training on testifying before the Arizona Legislature.

Changing the Narrative: Media Literacy
(Virtual, 6:30-7:30 p.m.)
Civic Engagement Beyond Voting will host a media literacy training focused on identifying misinformation and evaluating news sources.

Looking ahead

Progress for the People Town Hall / Asamblea Comunitaria “Progreso para el Pueblo”
(Phoenix, March 20, 6-9 p.m.)
The Progressive Caucus Action Fund and partner organizations will host a town hall in north-central Phoenix featuring members of Congress and local advocates discussing immigration policy, economic issues, and federal legislation affecting Arizona communities.

NO KINGS Tucson
(Tucson, March 28, 10 a.m.-12 p.m.)
Organizers are planning a visibility protest at East River Road and North Vía Entrada as part of the national “No Kings” demonstrations focused on protecting democratic institutions.
