Are you looking for a new rental in Phoenix? Or maybe you’re someone who likes to scroll housing listings for fun? Either way, I’m bringing you the highlights of what I’ve seen recently while scrolling Zillow.
Some are more practical, while others may be just for dreaming. But hopefully they’re all at least fun to look through.
If you love taking walks: This rental (that a reader sent my way—thanks, Rick!) is right off Murphy’s Bridle Path, a beautiful 5-mile walking trail along Central Avenue, and the Arizona Canal Trail. It’s a two-bed, two-bath, 903-square-foot condo in a complex of 24. It has community pool access and allows cats—and it’s available starting Thursday. It’s listed for $1,875 a month.
If you don’t want to pay an electric bill: This home near Glendale Avenue and 12th Street (also off the Arizona Canal Trail) has solar, and the low electric payment is included in the rent. The three-bed, two-bath is 1,350 square feet and listed for $2,550 a month. Pets are allowed (there’s a doggy door!), and the home is available March 23. Standout features include a bathroom with dual shower heads and a backyard fire pit.
If you want your home to POP: This 1,500-square-foot home near Seventh Street and Indian School Road has a pretty unforgettable exterior: dark blue and neon yellow paint with bright letters spelling out “peace,” “love,” “faith,” and “hope” on the bottom of the porch. The three-bed, two-bath includes a turf backyard and herb garden, and it allows small dogs. It’s listed for $2,500 a month if leased unfurnished, and $3,000 a month for furnished.

Listings available as of Jan. 28. I’m not paid to share these listings, but that doesn’t mean I can personally vouch for them. Please do your research before applying and signing a lease!
