Are you looking for a new rental in Phoenix? Or maybe you’re someone who likes to scroll housing listings for fun? Either way, I’m bringing you the highlights of what I’ve seen while scrolling Zillow.
Some are more practical, while others may be just for dreaming. But hopefully they’re all at least fun to look through.
If you like fun design features: This 2,700-square-foot home off of 54th Street and Thomas Road has some interesting visuals: interior double archways, a stone fireplace and interior planter, and dark wooden ceiling beams. It also has a big Arizona room and big stretches of turf in the yard. The three-bed, two-bath is listed for $3,900 a month, and cats and dogs are allowed.
If the backyard is where it’s at: This 1,282-square-foot home off McDowell Road and 15th Avenue looks really standard—but the backyard reveals some fun. There’s a jazzed-up detached garage with red-and-white checkered flooring, brick walls, lots of workbench space, and a couch for hanging out. And garden lovers will be happy to see the large, raised beds that could hold lots of plants. The three-bed, two-bed is listed for $2,500 a month, and cats and dogs are allowed.
If you want rent to equal square footage: This 1,000-square-foot two-bed, one-bath off Northern and 35th avenues is listed for $999 a month. It’s an upstairs unit that includes a shared one-car garage (it’s unclear if you get to use it). There are also no interior photos listed, so if you’re interested, you should definitely go see it in person! Cats and small dogs are allowed, and laundry is shared.
