July 8 is National Raspberry Day. This little fruit has been keeping me going this summer.
The combo of sweetness and tartness makes it perfect for a hot summer day, and it’s a high-fiber fruit, so it’s great for your gut.
If you haven’t done so already this summer, this would be a perfect week to grab some fresh raspberries from your local farmers market or grocery store.
You could also check out these Arizona-made products with raspberry flavors:
- Wild Tonic’s raspberry goji rose kombucha
- AZ Lemonade Stand’s Rising Raspberry lemonade
- Lumberyard Brewing Co.’s Red Rock Raspberry fruited ale
- Barrio Brewing Co.’s Tj’s Raspberry Ale
- Pine Country Restaurant’s chocolate raspberry cream pie and raspberry cream cheese pie
- Piefection’s raspberry cheesecake and raspberry peach pie
- Salce Gourmet’s raspberry chipotle hot sauce
And, as a bonus—because it came up a million times as I googled “Arizona raspberry drinks”—the famous AriZona iced tea brand makes raspberry and raspberry half-and-half flavors. Despite taking our state’s name, this brand is based in New York, so it’s only an honorable mention.
