Maribel Ponce

Maribel Ponce is a dedicated mother, school coordinator, and advocate for paid family leave, tax fairness, and immigrant rights in Arizona. Born in Guadalajara, Mexico, she migrated to the U.S. in 1995 and has since championed policies that support working families, particularly caregivers like herself. Maribel fights for Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML), believing no one should have to choose between caregiving and job security. She also advocates for a fair tax system that supports essential programs for families. A vocal supporter of immigrant rights, Maribel’s personal experiences under harsh immigration policies fuel her passion for change.
