I am so excited that the Phoenix Mercury have made it to the WNBA Finals!

I’ve been a fan of the team for a while now, and I can’t wait to experience the excitement of another possible championship for our city.

The last time the Mercury was in the finals was when we heartbreakingly lost to the Chicago Sky in 2021. We won championships in 2007, 2009, and 2014—so it’s been a while since we’ve been on top.

I was at Game 3 of the semifinals in PHX Arena last Friday, and the energy in the building was so cool to experience. My voice was so scratchy after cheering all night, along with so many other fans. 😂

The first game of the finals is this Friday in Las Vegas, so tune in if you want to support your hometown team against the Aces. You can either visit a sports bar showing the game (hello, Title 9!) or watch from home. I purchased $5 day passes from Sling to watch a couple semifinals games from home, and that worked really well for me. Or, if you’re up for an adventure, hit the road! Vegas isn’t that far away.

Game 2 (Sunday) will also be in Vegas, but Games 3 and 4 (Oct. 8 and 10) will be here in Phoenix at the newly named Mortgage Matchup Center. Tickets are available for as low as $40.

If necessary, as the series is best of seven, Games 5 and 7 will be in Vegas on Oct. 12 and 17. Game 6 would be in Phoenix on Oct. 15.

Go Mercury!
