One of my favorite snacks is potato chips. There are so many flavors that it’s hard to get bored of them!

I came across this Stacker story that used Instacart data to find the most uniquely popular chip brands in each state.

Arizona’s was Ruffles, which is funny to me since that brand is so widely available. I ate so many bags of the queso flavor while I was at ASU because they were part of my meal exchange plan.

The other brands rounding out Arizona’s top five were:

I grew up in Maryland, so I ate a lot of Utz and Herr’s chips, which are represented on the map here. The Utz crab chips and Herr’s ketchup chips are worth snagging if you ever see them around.

I’ve heard of Poore Brothers, which were popular chips made in Arizona, but I never got to try them before they were discontinued. They were acquired by Inventure Foods in 2006, which was then acquired by Utz in 2017.
